weathergeek's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- the most awesomest day i got off the night shift this morning and left after a) playing a small prank and b) doing a shift change briefing interpretive dance. i slept for a couple of hours and then got up, showered and met kjl and carter for sushi. i was in a really giddy mood--maybe from the prank, maybe from lack of sleep, but i actually think it was something more profound than that--and so the three of us had a wonderful time. we went back to their house and hung out and it was awesome. i went to meet up with eze later. we went to joey's for dinner and then off to the hockey game. the game was great, with a lot of nice scoring plays and fights; the moose won 5-0. the whole time the giddiness kept going and i was just walking around with a smile on my face. i think today i was, for the first time in years, fully myself. the complete weathergeek. no holding back, no censoring, no fear of looking silly. and i had a blast. even now i'm enjoying the evening, sitting in my house all alone. when i said before that i thought something might be missing, i think i was talking about this: i need always to be the full weathergeek. anything less and i'm cheating myself. 11:18 p.m. - 2009-11-13 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
